JASON + VI | BANFF & MORAINE PHOTOGRAPHER

I would like to call this an engagement shoot but TECHNICALLY Jason didn’t propose until a few days after this photo session - which made me want to drive all the way back to the Banff area just to see the ring!! Vi and I chatted about her shoot back and forth as they were coming from the States and everything was a bit new to them in terms of how busy Moraine Lake may be. Although it is the top spot for tourists to visit in the Banff/ Rockies area, we managed to find some private spots to document the beautiful water!
This was their first photo shoot EVER as a couple and I always take that to heart - Thank you Vi + Jason for letting me pick you up in my little Hyundai car and have you stand on some very high rocks :)

And as you know.. I love this lake side area for photos too! Usually always private and a chance to get closer to the water. With her dress being such a striking color, we had to finish by the canoe dock!

“Jalisse was phenomenal. Neither Jason or I had ever had a photoshoot done before and she made us feel so comfortable. She was down to earth, funny, and warming. She really went above and beyond for us. We were stressing out about finding parking to get into the lake (they close the gates because it gets packed so early). Jalisse offered to meet us, show us where to park, and drive us in. She works so hard for us when she didn't need to. She's pregnant, carried all this photography gear, and even went through mud to get great shots of us. She even went over the contracted time. Andddd, the photos we received are out of this world gorgeous. I was so nervous that our nerves would show through in the photos, but we look so beautiful and natural. Her turn around time is also amazing! I didn't expect the photos back for a month or so, but we literally received them in under a week! Go Jalisse! I would recommend her every time.
